- Subscriptions and restore purchasesContactFor support or privacy questions, contact:[email protected]Privacy PolicyEffective date: 17 May 2026Tarn is designed to help you manage your personal finances in a private and straightforward way.Information Tarn StoresTarn stores the finance information you enter into the app, including bills, accounts, savings goals, loans, pensions, rent, mortgages, stock holdings, crypto holdings, subscriptions, reports, notes and related settings.Tarn also stores app preferences, including onboarding choices, dashboard settings, reminder settings, display settings, currency settings, language settings and security preferences.This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share or back up your data.How Tarn Uses Your InformationTarn uses your information to operate the app’s features, including calculations, dashboards, reports, reminders, monthly reviews, backups and finance tracking tools.Tarn does not require an account to use its core features.Tarn does not sell your personal data.Tarn does not use your personal finance records for advertising.Backups and ExportsTarn may allow you to export or import backup files. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them. If you share, save or upload an exported backup file, that destination is controlled by you and may be subject to the privacy policy of the service you choose.NotificationsIf you enable notifications, Tarn may schedule local notifications on your device for bills, renewals, deadlines, monthly close prompts or other reminders. These notifications are handled on your device.Face ID and Touch IDIf you enable app lock, Tarn may use Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode through Apple’s local authentication system. Tarn does not receive or store your biometric data.Subscriptions and PurchasesTarn may offer subscriptions or in-app purchases using Apple’s StoreKit system. Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple. Tarn may receive subscription status information from Apple so the app can unlock paid features.Market Data and Network RequestsIf you use features such as stock prices, crypto prices, company information, market news, logos or exchange rates, Tarn may send relevant symbols, search terms or identifiers to third-party market data services. These may include services such as Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, the European Central Bank, Nasdaq or logo/favicon providers.These requests are used to provide the feature you requested. Tarn does not send your full personal finance records to these services.Data SharingTarn does not sell your personal data.Tarn does not share your personal finance records with third parties for advertising.If you use export, backup or share features, files are shared only with destinations you choose.Data Retention and DeletionFinance data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app data or uninstall the app.Exported backup files remain wherever you choose to save them. You are responsible for deleting exported files from those locations.To delete Tarn’s local data, delete the data inside the app where available or uninstall the app from your device.Children’s PrivacyTarn is not designed for children under 13. You are responsible for checking information and seeking professional advice where appropriate.Your DataYou are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into Tarn.Tarn stores finance data locally on your device unless you choose to export, share or back up that data.You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for managing any exported backup files.BackupsTarn may provide backup export and restore features. You are responsible for safely storing exported files and checking that backups are available before deleting app data or changing devices.Subscriptions and In-App PurchasesTarn may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.Market DataTarn may show prices, exchange rates, company information, market news or related financial data from third-party sources.Market data may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable or incomplete. Tarn is not responsible for errors or omissions in third-party data.AvailabilityTarn may change, add or remove features over time.
